Come Ride With Us! As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), we are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as the Global CSR Manager being part of the Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO). As the Global CSR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our corporate social responsibility strategy across all regions where Cannondale operates. You will be part of the EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Organization) team and work closely with various departments, stakeholders, and external partners to drive initiatives that align with our CSR goals and values. You will report to the Vice President EPMO. ** Please note this role can sit in either our Wilton, CT or Woudenberg, NL office in a hybrid (3 days/week in office) environment.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Co-Develop and refine (under leadership of Vice President Enterprise PMO) the company's global CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Engage with stakeholders, e.g. (not limited to) SLT, Marketing, Internal Communications Manager, Finance and HR departments, employees, customers, Pon.Bike, Pon Holdings and other external stakeholders, to understand their perspectives and incorporate their feedback into CSR initiatives.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, to collaborate on CSR projects and leverage their expertise and resources.
  • Oversee the implementation of CSR programs and initiatives, including but not limited to e.g.  environmental sustainability, social impact, ethical sourcing/ Supply Chain Responsibility, Health and wellbeing, and Climate action. The goal of CSR initiatives is to create positive social and environmental impact while also generating value for Cannondale and its stakeholders
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of CSR activities. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders to communicate progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and reporting requirements related to CSR, and identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities associated with CSR initiatives.
  • Support in fostering a culture of corporate social responsibility within the organization by engaging employees in volunteer activities, sustainability initiatives, and awareness campaigns. Collaborating with Marketing on external communications re CSR. Serves as a member of the EPMO team and may be requested to participate in other initiatives. 
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging issues, and best practices in CSR, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our CSR strategy and programs.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sustainability, environmental science, social sciences, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in CSR or sustainability is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, or related fields, with a track record of developing and implementing CSR strategies and initiatives on a global scale.
  • Strong understanding of environmental, social, and governance issues, sustainability principles, and international frameworks.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and geographies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure and communicate the impact of CSR activities.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
