As a Project Manager, Product Development at Cannondale, you will lead product development to success from concept to market introduction through effective management of scope, schedule, budget, and vendor relationships. This role includes reporting and data management as well as future planning and resource management. The Project Manager will participate and lead process improvement initiatives within the development group and cross-functional departments. In essence, the Project Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating project success and fostering continuous improvement within the organization.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Ability to manage multiple development projects concurrently through strong organizing and planning skills. Manage time wisely, and effectively to prioritize multiple competing tasks. 
  • Evaluate a project’s scope of work to identify risk, timeline and deliverables. Provide clear expectations for design, engineering, specification and commercialization of products and alert team members to action. 
  • Provides communication and updates to the core team, stakeholders, executive leadership and other departments in a clear and concise format as required.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project deliverables align with the business strategy.  
  • Identify, document and resolve project issues and delays.  
  • Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives as directed.  
  • Coordinate future project and resource planning with associated departments.    
  • Lead weekly project and status meetings. Document and distribute associated meeting minutes.  
  • Provide clear, concise communication between team members and the organization. Able to navigate interpersonal conflicts by utilizing consensus and collaboration to debate and resolve issues. 
  • Coordinate with our Taiwan office and monitor product development manufacturing, testing and production.    
  • Achieve project objectives and completion on time, on budget, and in conformance to project management methodologies and standards. 
  • Compiles data, reports, and dashboards. 
  • Assists on the development, continuous improvement, training and enforcement of project management methodologies, tools, and processes used within PMO. 
  • Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function. 
  • Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years experience managing projects. 
  • Must have experience in MS Project or related project management tools (i.e.:  Asana, Workfront).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Accountable and results driven.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience with process mapping.
  • PMP and/or Six Sigma Certification a plus.
