As Senior Accounting Specialist you are a member of the Finance team reporting to the Accounting Controller. In this role, you contribute to managing and further developing the daily transactional Finance, Financial Reporting, Tax, Internal Controls & Compliance activities for CSG Europe & UK (CSG) in close cooperation with the Accounting Team and Corporate Finance. In short, this role offers diverse responsibilities in accounting and financial control. You will have significant responsibility and there will be plenty of learning opportunities while collaborating with the Accounting Team on various projects.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Identifying, analyzing, and communicating risks and opportunities to the Accounting Controller on a timely basis as well as ensuring any accounting/reporting issues are cleared up in a timely manner and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Support in building scalable processes.
  • Be the back-up for the Accounting Controller.
  • Provide support in month-end closing procedures to ensure appropriate and accurate financial accounting and reporting including preparation of group reporting’s.
  • Various analysis (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss).
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end close Group reporting.
  • Support in Cash Flow Forecasting & Working Capital Analysis.
  • Support in managing and executing VAT-filings for Cannondale and its subsidiaries.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2+ years’ experience in finance, accounting or similar role.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting techniques as well as generally accepted accounting principles (RJ).
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch required.
