We are looking for a Director, Marketing & Professional Relations to join the Candid™ team to increase market adoption and bolster our existing business by setting the vision for and leading the execution of our marketing plans, KOL program, and training and educational programming.

This critical leader will partner with our Pro clinicians every step of the way in driving peer-to-peer influencer programming, clinical adoption, and expanding doctor & patient demand for our Pro business. The right candidate is a seasoned professional with the proven leadership skills required to collaborate tightly across a dynamic set of teams and focus us on those initiatives that will drive the most impactful business results.

You will report directly to the SVP of Candid Pro, and will partner with Sales, Brand Marketing, Legal, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and our Clinicians.
What You’ll Do 
  • Top of funnel marketing: Create and execute quarterly and annual GP and Ortho marketing plans by working closely with Sales to drive doctor signups and case submissions. Plans must tie nearly to Consumer Marketing efforts, overall Pro business strategy, and Education initiatives for Pro clinicians
  • Activation & training: Lead in-house trainers and our third party training partners in conceiving of, designing, building, and delivering best-in-class onboarding and training programs both in-person and virtually with the goals of speeding time to first case submissions, and maximizing monthly case submissions thereafter. Develop curriculum from the ground up to provide world-class support for all of our doctors across varying specialties, levels of experience, and needs
  • Content creation: Develop doctor- and patient-facing positioning and messaging of Candid’s brand and products. Create channel communications that motivate trial and utilization. Work with our clinicians to distill and communicate clinical claims to support the Pro product. Develop the content for all customer-facing marketing collateral (brochures, emails, web pages, trade advertising, podcasts, case studies, social media, etc.). You will then liaise with our in-house Design team to create these assets and have final approval before they go to market
  • Product: Lead commercialization of the Pro product pipeline, working closely with our in-house digital product and engineering teams. Leverage user data, existing and prospective doctor interactions, and market research studies to develop a deep understanding of customer and consumer needs. Effectively communicate these needs to the broader organization so they inform our marketing efforts. Create reports to analyze progress in building the business and to identify areas that need further investment
What You’ll Need
  • 10 years minimum experience of marketing or related experience
  • Experience working in dental or medical devices
  • Passion for developing overarching program/partnership strategy at a high level... and then operationalizing those programs from the ground up. You must be as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to execute as you are setting vision
  • Drive to independently overcome obstacles, and deliver in the face of sometimes-limited resourcing and changing priorities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in deep collaboration with individuals at all levels in an organization, understand their needs/motivations, and manage complex cross-functional projects
