About the Role:

Camera IQ is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a member of our small but growing marketing team, you’ll be our first point of contact with our prospective accounts. Your role consists of leveraging our tech stack and tools to engage prospects and create business opportunities for our Account Executives. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our sales and marketing team to generate new business and develop creative strategies to unlock opportunities that drive revenue.  

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, creative, and driven individual who is consultative, organized, and is a strong writer and communicator. This candidate should be able to strategically navigate organizations in an effort to gain access to key decision makers. They should possess the ability to qualify and create opportunities by understanding customer’s business needs and clearly articulating the value of Camera IQ’s solution. This role reports to the Senior Demand Generation Manager and is full-time.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Quickly establish relationships on the phone with digital marketers 
  • Identity, pitch, and qualify accounts to create opportunities for AEs
  • Research and prospect key contacts at target accounts
  • Develop personalized and creative outreach sequence to engage prospects
  • Help solve problems for potential customers and demonstrate the value of Camera IQ through a consultative approach
  • Quickly establish relationships on the phone with digital marketers 
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas of discovery calls, demos set, and qualified opportunities
  • Maintain detailed documentation of leads in Hubspot/Salesforce
  • Collaborate across internal functions including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success

 

Required Skills:

  • 1-2 years experience in sales development and/or B2B SaaS sales  
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, listener and avid notetaker 
  • Phenomenal interpersonal skills - you enjoy talking with people in person and over the phone
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
  • Self starting, ability to take initiative and recommend new lead gen ideas
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
  • Attention to detail

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with sales automation (Outreach, SalesLoft, Drift, Hubspot) are preferred  
  • Familiar with CRM (Hubspot/Salesforce) are preferred
  • Experience in selling an early-stage product in a tech industry is a plus 
  • Understanding Augmented Reality technologies is a plus
  • You love talking with prospects on the phone and helping them
  • You have a high degree of empathy to really understand our customers and connect their challenges to our solution
  • You are persuasive & adept at telling great stories as examples
  • You have excellent time management skills
  • You are self-motivated and you love consistently hitting a goal (outcomes and activities)
