A Tax Intern at Calvetti Ferguson will have the opportunity to assist with the preparation of tax returns as well as the chance to work on a variety of tax consulting and research projects. You will get hands-on experience working on individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state, and international returns.

The goal of this internship is to allow you to gain exposure to all aspects of tax planning and tax preparation services. We are here to help you start your career in accounting with proper training, resources, and guidance along the way.

This is a 10-week full-time internship. It typically starts in mid-February and lasts until mid-April.

Responsibilities

Assist in all aspects of tax planning and tax preparation services.
Prepare partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns.
Preparation of multi-state and international tax returns.

Job Requirements

Education: working towards CPA.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2
Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread for accuracy and finalize documents professionally.
Must be able to meet established deadlines, ensuring that work is complete and accurate.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint at an intermediate level is required.
Juniors and above are preferred.
