Calm is looking for a freelance Growth Marketing specialist to deliver media buying support to our DTC User Acquisition team across multiple ad channels (Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta Ads).

What You'll Do

  • You will be completing tasks across Google, Apple Search and Meta Ads.
  • Sample projects include:
    • Campaign management:
      • Manage SEM and ASA campaigns to drive more efficient growth - keyword discovery, negative keyword clean up, etc.
    • Operational projects:
      • Tracking and uploading new creative winners on Meta
      • Optimize & update trackers to track creative uploads, creative testing statuses, and localized (international) / resized creatives 
      • Create international creative tickets to maintain steady stream of new international creatives to be uploaded to campaigns
      • Upload newly resized creatives to YouTube for launch in Universal App Campaigns (UAC) and maintain creative trackers
    • Analytics projects:
      • Monitor FB/IG, SEM, and ASA metrics and flag shifts in data 
      • Run weekly analysis to flag changes in funnel metrics 
      • Monitor and maintain international campaigns for changes in campaign activity and opportunities for growth
      • Competitor analysis for general landscape and creative

Who You Are

  • Growth Marketer with 2+ years running ad campaigns, preferably with experience in both SEM & Meta Ads, but at minimum strong fluency in at least one of these channels
  • Experience running mobile app ads campaigns for a DTC business (subscription business is a plus!)
  • Experience managing campaigns toward a performance (LTV/CAC) goal
  • Fluent in ad creation across FB/IG
  • 1+ year experience in performance/funnel analysis
  • Experience with G Suite (comfortable in Google Sheets, Docs)
  • Experience with data-analysis tools (Excel, chart output from Tableau and Mode), and able to leverage this data to drive insights at ad, campaign or channel level

  • Calm’s budget for this engagement is  $60-70/hour based on qualifications and contractor’s rate
  • Calm anticipates that this contract will require approximately 18-20 hrs. of work per week for an initial term of 4-6 months.
    • No in-person component.
    • At least 50% of the day overlapping with US hours (EST or PST) is preferred to discuss project outcomes and report to Calm’s Marketing Team. 
    • Professionals providing the above services typically perform similar services for other clients at the same time - this is welcome and invited.
