We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to join and amplify our efforts to democratize access to alternative investments and become a “household name” amongst the wealth management community. The ideal candidate is a polished marketing athlete and three-dimensional thinker with experience directing specialists across marketing disciplines. You live and breathe modern, data-driven marketing and dream about ways to increase brand awareness, client acquisition, retention, volume and engagement. You have a proven track record for scaling businesses and understand the wealth management ecosystem. You are exceptionally communicative and collaborative and take a flexible, hands-on approach to successfully execute multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. You thrive under pressure and gracefully triage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders, including the CEO, listen to their vision in order to holistically understand end goals and offer smart, trackable solutions
• Communicate new market insights and report results of marketing campaigns to wider leadership team
• Drive / facilitate strategic cross functional discussions to better understand our clients, business and opportunities
• Implement process to oversee wide-reaching external messaging to ensure it is aligned with the firm’s comprehensive marketing / brand strategy
• Develop, refine and implement the firm’s marketing strategy to include specialized disciplines and optimize results
• Oversee all marketing initiatives and campaigns to position our product, services, and solution aligned to specific client segment targets
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging, content-based promotional and thought leadership materials
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and oversee their activities, including our public relations agency partner
• Advise team leaders on client and market trends and identify potential approaches for growth
• Determine and monitor KPIs on all marketing activities to boost engagement

Qualifications
• 10-15 years of experience in a Marketing leadership role
• Background in / understanding of Wealth Management industry
• Experience working in a start-up or fast growing 40-100 person company
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related disciple preferred
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Excellent project management and refined decision-making skills
• Strong leadership skills and outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and process facilitation skills with the ability to present ideas in a compelling manner and motivate colleagues at all levels
• Experience with Salesforce Pardot and Hubspot preferred
