Cadre Hospice seeks to expand access to the hospice benefit, especially among underserved populations. In addition to traditional go-to-market channels, Cadre plans to partner with at-risk medical groups to integrate upstream and offer a comprehensive palliative care program to patients nearing end of life. Cadre combines a unique pre-hospice care model, proprietary patient identification algorithm, partnership mindset with provider groups and best-in-class hospice operations to offer the most comprehensive end-of-life care solutions to patients. 

Reporting to the SVP, Head of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst at Cadre Hospice is pivotal in guiding financial strategy and ensuring our fiscal health. The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial performance, forecast trends, and provide strategic insights to support high-impact decisions. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive Cadre’s growth with data-driven recommendations and strategic analysis.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build and manage financial forecasts and targets. Track performance, analyze deviations from actuals, and drive strategic decisions.
  • Maintain financial forecasts and monthly reports. Work with departmental leads to refine budget forecasts and enhance reporting processes.  
  • Use advanced analytical tools to interpret financial data, improve data flow, and support dynamic reporting.
  • Develop and enhance financial planning processes through improved systems, technology, and scenario modeling.
  • Partner with other departments to assess and implement changes that support high-value work.
  • Build trust with operational and clinical leaders through sound financial modeling and reliable reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with our C-Suite on ad-hoc projects, including monthly operating reviews and Board materials. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or a CPA/CFA certification is preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with at least 2 years in the healthcare services industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare financial regulations and reimbursement models.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills, with a proven ability to digest large amounts of data and extract meaningful business metrics.  
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to embrace change and practice direct communication.
