We are seeking someone to join our team to support business development and account management for our marketing services and consulting practices. We are looking for an experienced business development executive with a strong business network working at, with, or for large technology companies (experience at Amazon, T-Mobile, Microsoft, Google, etc. would be a big plus) and/or experience working at marketing agencies selling to technology customers. This role will be responsible for building a strong sales pipeline through deep customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and closing them

As a Business Development Manager Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing business within new accounts and will have a target quota based on business acceleration and growth as well as managing our team of integrated marketing consultants working directly onsite with our customers. You’ll be part of the management team in a fun environment with a strong customer focused approach looking to grow our solutions offerings. Compensation will be a combination of salary, benefits, billable hours, sales linked bonus/commissions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish the sales motions required to support revenue targets

  • Develop the sales engagement playbook and facilitate sales collaboration across Cadence 3 to support RFP process for clients

  • Producing revenue on a short-term and long-term basis by targeting, identifying, and meeting qualified clients and prospects to obtain internal project work as well as external work orders

  • Identify opportunities for recurring revenue streams with new and existing clients

  • Lead Cadence 3 efforts to work deals through sales cycle to closure.

  • Manage and report on Cadence sales pipeline and against QBR goals.

  • Drive incremental revenue in support of Cadence 3’s three-year forecasting plan

  • Driving our sales growth with existing and new clients

  • Deep our engagements and broaden our service offerings with existing clients

  • Identifying, finding, and building relationships with new clients both locally and broader geographies

  • Be responsible for customer satisfaction at all levels both at initial sale and follow-on post sales

  • Work closely with the operations/execution team to deliver superior results

  • Producing qualified client opportunities and meetings on a weekly basis

  • Building client proposals, scope of works, and respond to RFPs

  • Identify opportunities for service models / offerings aligned to client needs to drive revenue and sales opportunities

  • Working closely with existing project team and outsource recruiters to fulfill client requirements

  • Provides solutions and alternatives to promote sales growth, market leadership and business development

  • Possess strong client management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with government and industry partners through daily interactions

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record in developing and seeking out new business opportunities and account management

  • Experience building a portfolio of business and metrics on impact to business

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales/business development role for a technical product/services company that offers services such as project management, product management, business analysis and software development

  • Experience in preferred vendor process with enterprise company and getting proper certificates (veteran/women owned/minority) to get included in new vendor programs.

  • Experience working in agency, marketing, video production, consulting sales (Marketing Consulting is a bonus)

  • Able to build and maintain strong client relationships – is considered a long-term partner rather than a supplier

  • Experience in high tech consulting or relevant fields

  • Strong network of client contacts to lean into

  • Experience identifying new business opportunities and customer innovation

  • Ability to think and act independently

  • Strong bias for action and results oriented

  • Customer focused with an ability to anticipate client needs

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate ideas and analysis of issues to all levels of internal and external stakeholders

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to travel for customer and business meetings

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be local to Seattle area 

  • Remote role with ability to be in office as needed

  • Flexible, yet demanding and fast-paced environment

  • Networking events on outside of business hours could be required

  • Must be able to attend client meetings as needed

  • Requires the ability to sit at a standard computer desk, type on a standard computer keyboard, and operate a standard computer mouse for long periods at a time.

  • Professional attire (business casual) required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Compensation will be a combination of salary, benefits, billable hours, sales linked bonus/commissions with a range of $150,000 - $350,000+ / year depending upon sales

  • Compensation dependent upon skills, experience, and revenue/sales metrics
