Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating both internal and external design activities for ADAS/AD L0-L3 autonomous system development and will be the expert point of contact with engineering stack holders including delivering the scope, plans, timing and risk mitigation
  • Work closely with product and system engineers to develop and track the requirements, architecture, BOM, simulation, design, FMEA, functional safety, prototyping, test, integration, PPAP, Logistics, quality measures and delivery of ADAS and autonomous system
  • Lead sign-offs of HWs, parts relaeses, DV&PV reports, verification and validation according to engineering development phases
  • Work closely with external engineering partners, system Engineers, other Technical Program Managers in BYTON and most importantly BYTON PMO, supply chain, prototype/manufacturing team in Nanjing, China
  • Include working with quality, manufacturing, service department before and after introduction in production in technical domain
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills by developing consensus and win-win situations
  • Evaluate and recommends options consistent with industry best practices
  • Influence the development & implementation of an efficient and effective design process & application

Candidate requirements and qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related field. Master + degree preferred
  • A record of launching automotive projects successfully and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Working experience with ADAS/AD Lv0-Lv3 system
  • Require 5 or more years of relevant experience in technical program management in autonomous drving technology
  • Experience working with cross functional development teams to coordinate the entire product development lifecycle. This includes design requirements, FMEA, functional safety, prototype designs, verification/validation , vehicle level diagnosis and introduction to mass production.
  • Experience on technical writing of engineering documentation
  • Good teamwork and communication skills are essential
  • Experience with both prototype product development and large volume manufacturing
  • Knowledge of automotive ADAS safety standards such as NCAP, ISO for ADAS/AD and ISO26262 is a plus
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Experience on In-plant and/or program/vehicle launch
