Overview: 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the functional vehicle & backend / cloud requirements for the Byton E/E group
  • Implement a process within the Byton tool landscape to manage all requirements for Byton E/E functions including digital platform (‘end to end’) functionality & vehicle interaction, including structure, workflow, review and approval process
  • Understand the high-level system requirements that are provided to the centers of competency team, and be able to decompose them into concrete system, subsystem and component requirements
  • Ensure proper requirements traceability, according to ISO26262 functional safety processes, thorough understanding of ASPICE process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Byton Engineering, Marketing and Program Management
  • Ensure consideration & translation of region / country specifc regulatory requirements into compliant E/E sub-systems
  • Coordinate with cross-functional software teams and ensure sure alignment with the requirements management & feature maturity process
  • Support Test and evaluation of specific behaviors at the system level, ensure E/E requirements are properly addressed in validation plans and met by the final product
  • Contribute to in-vehicle functional and performance testing for each vehicle SW build / integration event
  • Perform any other duties, as necessary, for achieving department goals to get to documented requirements and full test coverage

 

 Candidate requirements and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in E/E system engineering
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art requirement & issue management / collaboration tools (DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, Confluence etc.)
  • Automotive experience at an OEM or Tier 1
  • Must be self-motivated, with a desire to continuously improve and learn.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with tight timing constraints, providing examples of such scenarios throughout one’s career.
