The Global Logistics Team leads all US, and EU Operations. This includes International Shipment Execution, Global Trade Compliance, Show Car Transportation, International Packaging, and China Operations Support.
The Sr. Logistics Analyst, Outbound will be responsible for managing outbound finished vehicle logistics operations to overseas locations from Byton’s production plant in Nanjing. This includes leading the sourcing efforts of the outbound 3PL, developing the outbound finished vehicle strategy, and managing the day-to-day operations. This role will work very closely with the China Logistics Team, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, and the 3rd Party Carriers.

Develop the end-to-end process for outbound finished vehicles for overseas countries
Coordinate the distribution of finished vehicle delivery for Byton cars from the Nanjing plant to overseas countries
Lead vendor selection of Outbound Finished Vehicle 3PL
Create the Oubound Finished Vehicle 3PL Statement of Work
Maintain key KPI’s to track the 3PL’s performance
Act as point of contact to Sales organization for delivery issues and questions
Act as backup and support for the other roles in the Outbound team
Escalate non-performing Carriers to IDP when needed
Manage freight costs, process payments and advise of any discrepancies/adjustments
3-5 years in oubound finished vehicle operations
Vast experience with shipping vehicles domestically within the US and EU
Knowledge of the routines and working methods within Outbound Logistics for finished vehicle distribution.
Operational knowledge of carrier operations within finished vehicle distribution, such as experience working for an OEM, car haul or rail company
Must have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access
Strong data mining experience
Comfortable making data driven decisions, and conveying ideas in group settings
Must be self-driven, have hands-on approach to resolving issues, flexible, and open to changes to dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and partner relationship management skills.
Experience working with SAP
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
Expert proficiency in English; conversational ability in Mandarin, Cantonese, or German a plus.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint
