As the Publications Manager, Owner’s Manual you will develop Owner’s Manual for all Byton vehicles. Doing so you will ensure that all legal requirements are met, and highest customer satisfaction is achieved. The task will require you to set up all processes for authoring, translation, test and multi-channel publishing. You will be responsible for producing all content and steer the supply base along the entire process chain. You will closely collaborate with Sales and Engineering departments to ensure correct and consistent customer information. With your expertise, you will develop and implement innovative concepts for Owner’s Manuals and continuously improve customer information. You will report to Director Service Technology and Operation USA.
Define generic structure for Owner’s Manual and consumer information for all Byton vehicles;
Create Innovative Owner’s Manual for onboard and offboard customer information using state of the art technology and cross-industry solutions;
Develop and align strategy for customer information over entire lifecycle ensuring hassle-free customer experience;
Design and implement all processes to produce required content including authoring, translation, multi-channel publishing, and test;
Set up the pilot process to ensure availability of Owner’s Manual for certification process in China.
Experienced Publications Manager for Owner’s Manuals (preferred automotive) with a minimum of 5 years of experience;
Detailed knowledge XML Authoring Processes and Multi-Channel publishing;
Expertise on standards and Legal Requirements for Automotive Owner’s Manual;
Creativity – willingness to create new processes and standards;
Experience in Automotive Owner’s Manuals;
Experience in Introduction to XML Authoring Process;
Other OEM (no preference) or supplier with a focus on XML Authoring for Owner’s Manuals.
