Systems and Project Specialist
• Work with program and engineering managers to estimate, plan and manage systems engineering tasks.
• Coordinate HW, FW, and SW releases across the Cloud, Connectivity, and Security component team.
• Communicate integration and schedule information, forecasting what each team needs to contribute for upcoming deliverables.
• Support system-level design and architecture activities.
• Develop product requirements and specifications for all functional areas including hardware, firmware, systems, environmental, reliability, etc.
• Evaluate the requirements and provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to reproduce faults, perform root-cause analysis, and determine what fixes are needed to meet requirements.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor other engineers.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• MS in an engineering discipline is a plus.
• 3+ years working experience as a Systems Engineer, Integration Engineer, or some combination.
• Experience with defining concise requirements, ensuring traceability, and documenting validation/verification procedures.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills - strong technical writing ability and proactive in reaching out to others.
• Ability to organize and prioritize to achieve milestones and deliverables.
• Strong sense of ownership regarding tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Strong drive to complete commitments.
• Ability to successfully and effectively work within a global team environment.
• Strong ability to communicate internally within the organization and externally to a customer or supplier.
• Experience with managing off-site environmental test facilities is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO26262 or other safety standards.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
