ByHeart is a fully integrated baby nutrition company dedicated to empowering parents with choice: we want ‘best nutrition for baby’ to be possible for every parent out there.

We build each product from ground up: a team of pediatricians, breastmilk researchers and nutrition experts at the forefront of immune, cognitive, digestive and microbiome health informs our next-to-nature approach; we hand-pick the most wholesome ingredients from partners and farms that we consider family; we take pride in what we put in and in what we keep out of each recipe; we blend in our own facility in Reading, PA with a proprietary small batch process to retain highest ingredient quality.

On track to become only the 4th fully-integrated, FDA-registered baby nutrition company in the US – and the only new brand with owned manufacturing and direct supplier relationships  – we just closed our over-subscribed $90M Series B in July 2021, and are about to launch our first infant formula, with a pipeline of mom and baby nutrition products to follow.

Reporting to: Senior Director of Acquisition


Role Responsibilities

  • Act as key liaison between Acquisition and Data Science and helping to drive the prioritization roadmap, identifying and analyzing trends or opportunities and sharing insights across the organization.
  • Rigorously analyzing customer journeys and identifying opportunities to optimize aggregate performance and move core business metrics
  • Developing hypotheses, planning, and analyzing lift-based experiments across various Acquisition channels (Facebook, Google, YouTube, TV, and Affiliate/Partnerships)
  • Working with the Senior Director of Growth Marketing to deepen ByHeart’s understanding of where the most impact can be made in optimizing LTV/CAC across media efforts
  • Act as a key driver in refining and improving ByHeart’s attribution modeling
  • Developing more sophisticated and standardized analytical processes across the team
  • Optimizing latent budget management opportunities (day of week, marginal costs, etc) both within channels and in aggregate
  • Cultivating a culture of data-reliance to generate continuous and incremental gains to key performance metrics

Skills & Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in analyst / associate roles in marketing (in-house user acquisition or media agencies), investment banking, management consulting, or other relevant roles
  • A data-driven approach to performance marketing and experience utilizing large data sets to inform strategic decision making
  • Excellent critical reasoning, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated team player with an excitement for driving results
  • Expert with Excel functions (V-lookup, Index Match, and Pivot Tables a must)
  • Preferred: Experience evaluating and optimizing toward standard user acquisition KPIs (CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, etc.)

Preferred: Experience running direct response marketing campaigns
