The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our Systems and Transformation efforts. This role involves leading transformation initiatives to enhance financial and business operations, ensuring system integration, and driving continuous improvement to support strategic objectives. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, partner with executive leadership and other leaders across the business,manage project timelines, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of NetSuite applications, industry experience, best practices and a pragmatic mindset in implementing business requirements. This role will require engagement with key stakeholders, identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional and process design, configuration, testing and end-user training. 

The position reports to the VP of IT. This role is office-based at least twice a week in New York City.

You Will

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand system architecture and to create business and functional requirements as an input to application design. 
  • Conduct business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions and prepare technical scoping documents to determine configuration requirements.
  • Configure NetSuite workflows, data validations, integrations, dashboards and relevant reports to optimize system functionality and to drive automation and reporting analytics.
  • Migrate legacy transactional and entity data from existing systems to Netsuite.
  • Establish test cases and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with core stakeholders to ensure system configuration objectives have been met.
  • Manage the deployment process and ensure seamless software launch and continuity of business operations during transition.
  • Lead change management efforts and apply SDLC policies and procedures across the IT environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during configuration and provide ongoing post implementation support to optimize user adoption and netsuite configuration.
  • Prioritize project workload to ensure milestones and objectives are attained.  
  • Create training / support documentation and drive end-user training to promote user adoption.
  • Drive delivery according to the agreed-upon scope, time and budget. 
  • Plan, manage and communicate project status and milestone achievements.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills including balancing competing priorities.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder interactions, conflict resolution and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge and skill in driving implementations, process transformation and educating the implementation team on best practices and effective execution.

You Have

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, or business related field, computer science, information management systems or other technology-related field. 
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting Finance and Business field and accounting background a plus. 
  • Hands-on experience working on data projects (i.e. data cleansing, QA, ETL, normalization, crowdsourcing, business intelligence development)
  • Familiarity with ETL Technology (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Pentaho).
  • 5+ years of experience with Netsuite ERP Financials, Purchasing, Reporting, Projects and Cash Applications, in enterprise software implementation with relevant consulting or industry experience and in project management.
  • Experience in software in a SaaS environment including any experience with Accounting / ERP.
  • Experience as a certified NetSuite Professional in performing full life cycle NetSuite implementations, integrations, and customizations. 
  • Experience with other IT financial systems including Workday HCM, Strongpoint, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels and ability to translate customer business requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills, including ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies.
