This position is hybrid based out of our Bannockburn, IL office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
The Collections Specialist will work as part of the corporate finance team to collect funds and resolve payment discrepancies in all procurement and custom accounts. This role will develop an in-depth knowledge of Produce Alliance's distributors and custom accounts.
Your impact:
- Contact accounts to collect past due invoices
- Resolve issues and complaints concerning billing
- Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and address with the team lead
- Provide friendly and timely customer service
- Maintain accurate records of attempted contacts
About you:
- 1+ years' experience in an accounting related position preferred
- A high school diploma or GED - college degree in accounting or related field is preferred
- Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills preferred)
