This position is based out of our office located in Becker, MN. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

 

Your impact:

This critically important role will support daily operations across four key areas: warehouse (50%), office administration (30%), accounting department (10%), and customer service team (10%). You will collaborate with the staff in each department as needed, as well as take responsibility for your own tasks.

  • Warehouse
    • Assist with fulfillment projects (i.e. assembly, taping, labeling, UPS/FedEx processing)
    • Support team to ensure all orders get shipped in a timely manner
    • Collate printed material, staple, and fold
    • Postage machine processing
    • Trade show support, 3rd party services/shipping coordination
  • Office/Team Admin
    • Maintain office supplies (i.e. desk materials, soda, and candy)
    • Sort and open mail, daily post office pick-ups and drop-offs
    • Participate in Culture Crew Committee and coordinate, prep, and clean up food orders
    • Assist with special events, client events, and internal meetings both on-site and off-site
    • Communicate clearly and efficiently on project deadlines and details
    • Represent our clients and programs in a positive and professional manner
    • Support travel accommodations including hotel, air, transportation, and car rentals
  • Accounting
    • Sort and match Accounts payable invoices, purchase orders and receivers
    • Validate rebate check batches for accuracy
    • Mail Accounts payable and rebate checks weekly or as needed
    • Ensure all filing is done timely and accurately
  • Customer Service
    • Accurately enter data, transaction processing, and database updates
    • Engage with foodservice operators through successful outbound calls
    • Read and interpret information from paper and electronic format into multiple software programs
    • Cross reference multiple reports for accuracy and completeness
    • Assist foodservice operators with website questions, product lists, and rewards points redemption.
    • Collaborate with internal departments on client and rewards program project support
    • Increase knowledge of our services, tools and programs, and our customer’s products
    • Increase participation in our reward programs, and process various leads

 

About you:

  • 2-3 years of administration experience
  • Office Administration or event coordination experience is preferred
  • Comfortable in casual, climate-controlled warehouse environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) required
  • Some prior experience related to the food or foodservice industry
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Possesses independent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects by prioritizing and managing time and change direction quickly to accommodate changing business needs
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced communication, critical thinking, interpersonal relationship and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral, written, spreadsheet and presentation communication skills
  • Decisive and able to make educated recommendations to clients and internal staff
  • Demonstrates good judgement, creativity, organization and positive attitude
  • Must be able to interact with other departments with projects as needed to exceed client expectations
  • Able to travel occasionally for company events or trade shows
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at select times
