Buyers Edge Platform (“BEP”) was born out of the 20-year growth and success of its founding companies Dining Alliance, Buyers Edge and Consolidated Concepts.  BEP is a technology enabled group purchasing network, which provides group purchasing services, SaaS based technology solutions, and supply chain consulting and procurement related services to foodservice operators across many verticals, including restaurants (independents as well as multiunit, chains and franchise concepts), hospitality (hotels, casinos, resorts), healthcare (LTC based operators), colleges & universities and array of other foodservice based operators (food trucks, caterers, amusement parks and other leisure based operators).  BEP represents over $35 Billion in Network Transactions.  We are committed and passionate about our mission to keep foodservice operators thriving by saving them money and increasing the quality of their products.

This position will be hybrid based out of our office location in Waltham, MA. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

The BEP Beyond Broadline Team is charged with facilitating and confirming our clients’ request to join our Beyond Broadline / Non Broadline programs. The Beyond Broadline Vendor Manger will assist in the administrative duties of day-to-day management of vendor programs, executing on strategic business plans, tracking and documenting program strengths and weaknesses, and coordinating activities between the Beyond Broadline Vendors and BEP.  This role will require a highly organized candidate to coordinate activities between multiple vendor partners. This position will report to the Senior Director of Beyond Broadline.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and updating program records in CRM (Salesforce) for opportunity tracking to include mass changes accomplished via dedicated program (Data Loader)
  • Assist in marketing coordination with vendor partners including
    • Maintaining and updating sales materials on file
    • Updating marketing calendars by BEPL brand
    • Collaborating with internal and external teams on upcoming marketing activities
  • Assist with maintaining and developing various trackers to document program/vendor strengths and weaknesses as well as in progress project requests
  • Onboarding of new Vendor partners
  • Learn and utilize our CRM (Salesforce) terminology
  • Assist with supplier connection workflows including loading supplier account numbers into our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Assist with preparing data for Vendor Business Reviews
  • Assist in preparing analysis for ad-hoc requests; pull and analyze data

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of industry experience desired, not required
  • Ability to work hybrid from the Lake Worth office
  • Ability to travel les than 4 times per year
  • Some experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM) preferred
  • Some data analysis/financial analysis skills
  • Ability to do pivot tables and vlookups in Excel with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to work effectively with any level of position and limited supervision
  • Comfortable with meeting virtually
  • Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations desired, not required
  • Food industry experience is a plus
  • Project management experience preferred
