This position is remotely based. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

As an M&A Project Manager, you will assist in all aspects of the company's merger and acquisition activities. This includes developing and implementing strategies, negotiating and executing transactions, and tracking post-acquisition performance and integration.

Your impact:

  • Market and competitive landscape analysis, including trends and developments.
  • Identify and source targets, build strong relationships with business owners.
  • Ensure our end-to-end M&A process is optimized across the organization.
  • Prioritize and evaluate potential targets, including alignment with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on all key aspects of the deal process from initial investment thesis, business case, financial valuation, due diligence, negotiation, closing and integration.
  • Create and present materials to recommend investment cases to executives
  • Drive the financial model/valuation and due diligence process, including liaising with internal business units and corporate functions and external business owners.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, Ops) internally and externally in preparation for closing / integration.
  • Ensure successful close and integration, including performance tracking of deal.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 2 -5 years of related experience
  • Self-starter with an ownership mindset; ability to prioritize, organize, and drive multiple projects at once.
  • Desire to work with fast-paced and entrepreneurial organizations with frequent exposure to senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.
