📣  A bit about the role. 

We are searching for an outgoing, hardworking, all round great communicator who cares passionately about the experience that our customers receive and speaks native level Dutch.

Butternut Box is new to the Dutch market and you will be one of the first team members to join our growing Customer Love team. In this role you will be the eyes and ears of Butternut Box, talking to our customers on a daily basis to resolve all customer queries. All incoming live customer contact will go through you, including phone, live chat, WhatsApp and social media channels. You are empowered to help shape our customer journey and come up with creative ways to make people’s lives and their dogs happier.

You will succeed in this role if you are motivated by bringing random moments of happiness to the people (and dogs!) we serve and are excited to work in an early-stage business at our office in the centre of Amsterdam.

This role is for 39 hours per week, Monday - Sunday on a rolling rota basis including regular weekend days and bank holidays. Customer Love currently operates every weekday from 09:00 to 21:00 and weekends from 09:00 to 18:00 (these times are subject to change).

👋  A bit about you. 

  • Exceptional communication, both spoken and written, in Dutch (native level) and English.
  • A passion for problem solving and finding solutions independently. No problem is impossible for you.
  • Reasonable numerical & reasoning skills.
  • High attention to detail
  • You can work autonomously to a high standard and also thrive as part of a team.
  • Customer service experience would be a bonus but not essential.
  • You love dogs (naturally)

❗️A few things to note: 

  • There are four stages to this interview process. If successful after your application you will be invited for a call with our recruiter. The second stage is a written task where you'll be asked a mixture of questions, some based on your experience and some situational based. The third and fourth stage will interviews with members of the Customer Love leadership team based in London, as well as some of your potential future colleagues from The Netherlands.
  • The set hours listed could change based on the unforeseen needs of the Customer Love team and Butternut Box, which is a seven day per week operation. If there are to be any changes to your hours or days of work, reasonable notice and consultation will be given.
