About the Role As a groundskeeper you will impact the lives of residents through performing a variety of jobs around the buildings, homes and grounds including mowing, edging and landscaping.
What You’ll Do As a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:
Keep grounds, flowerbeds, and other first impression areas neat and orderly.
Mow, edge, wind rake, and trim shrubbery on a weekly basis during the growing season and at other times as directed.
Ensure the sidewalks and walkways are clean and clear of debris.
Assist with leak detection and repair of sprinkler systems and replacement of broken sprinkler heads.
Apply fertilizers and weed killers as directed.
Vacuum parking lots on a weekly basis.
Clean, lubricate and store yard tools and equipment.
Manicure all existing flowerbeds in and around the buildings.
What You’ll Bring to the Team To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:
A High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) so as to have the knowledge to follow basic instructions.
Age 21 with a valid driver's license and clean driving record so you can be insured on the Buckner insurance.
Self-motivation to guide daily work with only moderate supervision.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to use tact and courtesy in interactions with coworkers, residents and their families.
