About the Role As a Security / Maintenance person you will impact the lives of our residents through maintaining security for our entire campus.
What You’ll Do As a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:
Ensure safe campus environment including facility building and grounds, provide security to ensure campus safety requirements are met and maintained.
Repair clogged sinks, commodes and drains.
Replace burned-out bulbs and perform basic electrical repairs.
Make minor repairs and adjustments.
Perform basic carpentry and plumbing work.
Provide assistance to residents and support to facility operations.
Detect, correct or report situations that have a possibility of causing accidents or injuries to residents or others.
Perform daily inspection of building and grounds.
Identify unsafe situations and correct.
What You’ll Bring to the Team To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:
A High School Diploma (or G.E.D.)
Self-motivation to guide daily work with only moderate supervision.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to use tact and courtesy in interactions with coworkers, residents and their families.
