About the Role As a Beautician you will impact the lives of residents through performing personal care of the residents' hair.
What You’ll Do As a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:
Perform hair care procedures to keep residents’ hair and scalp clean.
Perform hair cuts, permanents, scalp treatments, hair color, and other services as requested by residents or family members.
Monitor inventory of Beauty Shop supplies; reorder supplies as necessary to maintain an adequate stock level.
Work successfully as part of a team and responsible for developing then maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers.
What You’ll Bring to the Team To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:
Requires the attainment of a High School Diploma (or G.E.D.). Current cosmetology license issued by the state of Texas required. Prior related experience working with long term care residents preferred.
Requires proficient working knowledge of cosmetology services provided to residents in long term care nursing facility; ability to perform a variety of hair styles, cuts, trims, colors, and other services for both male and female residents.
