About the Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you have the incredible responsibility of exhibiting excellent customer service in cheerfully welcoming clients and guests, inviting them to share in complimentary refreshments, and creating a warm environment of comfort for individuals in crisis.
What You’ll Do
As a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:
- Positively performing initial screens of incoming calls and in lobby visitors, in order to provide community resources and/or connect individuals with Buckner service offerings
- Provide a clean and safe lobby and classroom area for guests and clients as they enter the Family Hope Center
- Maintain the upkeep of the community board with vital information of monthly activities, classes and resources for families
- Provide Administrative Support to the team by inputting required data into the data system, purchase supplies needed for the Family Hope Center and assist in executing various activities and/or classes
- Monitor and manage the bill payments, accuracy of required reports and spreadsheets, while maintaining the organization of contracts, MOU’s and agreements

- Knowledge of assisting individuals that are considered at risk or crisis families
- Professional commitment to Christian principles in performing tasks and responsibilities, aligning with Buckner mission, vision and values
- 5 STARS Customer Service and communication skills to use tact and courtesy in interactions with team, community, volunteers and donors
- Excellent public speaking skills and ability to successfully present agency in a professional manner
- Self-motivated to accomplish established goals with moderate supervision
- Age 21 years of age with valid Driver’s License, with ability to provide transportation via agency vehicle to clients
- Proficient working knowledge and ability to accurately and timely operate computer related tasks with specific equipment, i.e. software applications, copier, fax, etc.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions, maintain flexibility and deal with change; takes initiative
