Job Description:
The UX Lead helps guide and shape the user(s) experience of the project.
Starting with the project strategy by answering:
- What should an experience be about?
- Who should it be talking to?
- What features should it have?
- What platforms should this live on?
And carrying through the concept and design process
- What are the parts?
- What is the navigation system?
- What guides the user through the complexities of the messaging, and narrative.
Responsibilities:
- Be the client facing experience strategist to break down and formulate their needs
- Working with creative leadership and design teams to brainstorming experience strategies
- Helping producers integrate UX into schedules and budgets
- Working at all points of the UX pipeline from stakeholder interviews, to crafting topline user journeys, to wireframes
- Assisting the Resource team to build a pool of UX freelancers
- Sharing UX standards with the wider design and creative technology teams and assisting / planning education
- Being on select calls with ECDs or GCDs to take initial briefs. To start, this will probably be on Experience projects, but this should shift to cover all the visioning, r&d, and design work that we do for our companies.
- Efficiently translate concepts into a variety of artifacts that lead to a clear understanding of the user experience solutions through compelling stories
- Project defining from user to platform
- Mapping the user journey
- Producing wireframes of all interactions on a project in collaboration with a UI designer
- Creating clickable prototypes
- Testing experiences in-app, updating and tweaking the experience for the best project.
- Working across web, ar, vr, mobile, and immersive
