What You'll Do:

As the Implementation Architect, you will act as an expert on the Billtrust products.  You will serve as a key "go-to" person to address functional and technical questions from both clients and internal team members regarding product content, processes, and procedures.  You will be recognized across the organization for your Billtrust product expertise and will be sought as a resource for the resolution of unique or complex implementation and support problems. You will interact with the software development, quality assurance, product, client support, sales, and project management teams to ensure they understand new product functionality/features being proposed by clients and/or internal resources.


  • Work directly with Project Managers and customers to determine their application system requirements and configuration options for new/modified product implementations
  • Recommend best practices, answer questions regarding feasibility issues, and serve as a subject matter expert on design and ecommerce  product to support Client Services, Professional Services, Sales, Business
  • Conduct product implementations remotely or on client sites
  • Act as a technical main point of contact for clients during the implementation process
  • Determine technical challenges and or issues and escalate potential issues to appropriate resources
  • Respond to product-related or functional questions from all team members
  • Independently Set-up and configuration of products and demos
  • Determine technical challenges and or issues and escalate potential issues to appropriate resources
  • Work with other Billtrust Teams as it relates to customer implementation and how to support approved in-scope requirements

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an implementation, technical support or software solutions role
  • 2+ years of experience managing internal and client expectations and deadlines; i.e. scheduling, communication, escalation, and risk
  • Proven success in the implementation and support of software solutions
  • Previous experience working with ecommerce solutions
  • Strong communication skills  with client resources both technical and non-technical
  • Effective with time management and self-prioritization of tasks
  • Strong support and troubleshooting skills
  • Additional experience with the following technologies; Java, React, Angular, Next.js, GarphQL, Spring, Git
  • Comfortable communicating with client resources both technical and non-technical

Target Base Compensation: $67,000 - $100,000 (bonus and equity offered in addition to base compensation) 

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for Colorado-based hires only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. Billtrust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience and location.
