Job Summary: As the Director of Learning and Development, you will be instrumental in shaping and driving the company's learning initiatives while serving as a strategic advisor and collaborator to various business teams. You will partner with senior stakeholders to define learning needs and set the agenda, design learning journeys and programs, oversee their delivery, track impact, and develop additional learning interventions. Additionally, you will manage relationships with external vendors and mentor junior team members. Since our team operates remotely, you must be adept at virtual communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Training Needs Analysis: Identify organizational learning needs and design programs that integrate instructional best practices with business objectives.
• Program Development: Create engaging e-learning, blended, and instructor-led learning experiences that are innovative and user-friendly.
• Stakeholder Consultation: Collaborate with key decision-makers to develop implementation strategies that drive the successful adoption of learning programs.
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of learning programs to enhance their effectiveness and impact.
• Collaboration: Work closely with management and subject matter experts to develop and execute comprehensive learning strategies across the organization.
• Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Manage, assess, and report on blended learning initiatives using the internal LMS, providing insights into learning trends and addressing any issues.
• Data Reporting: Track and report on tool usage and LMS features, using data to inform decisions and execute plans for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a service-driven organization.
• Skills: Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Must demonstrate ownership and a results-driven mindset.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and possibly Tableau. Familiarity with LMS and survey tools is required.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent relevant work experience.

 

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
