Overseeing the day to day running of the London Managing Partner office. Acting as EA to Managing Partner and Partner, Head of UK Operations

Key Responsibilities

EA support to Managing Partner and Head of UK Operations

  • Extensive diary management and inbox management.
  • Working closely with the Managing Partner, UK Operations Partner and their Chief of Staff on all matters related to the direction of the London office, including leadership, management priorities and issues. Responsibilities to include but not limited to the below.
    • Arranging team meetings and updates, holding the pen on the agenda
    • Drafting correspondence, emails, invites etc.
    • Document & Presentation production
    • Internal Social Media management
    • Extensive travel arrangements including visas.
    • Inbox monitoring and support with prioritization
    • Working with the Brunswick marketing and events teams to organise events, webinars, and publishing content.
    • Working with charges to expand and maintain individual and firm-held professional networks.
    • Scheduling London Partner and Director meetings/office wide update meetings
    • Involvement of Annual Partner appraisal process for London
    • Expenses & Timesheets
    • Delivering ad hoc personal support on the occasions when it is necessary, including for external charity/board commitments and platform opportunities.
    • Liaison with internal departments to support the functioning of the team, including facilities, ICT, HR and finance.
    • Liaison with peers across the Brunswick global network to help facilitate the delivery of the London strategy.
    • Managing/shaping systems to support the team – including managing shared drive, trackers etc.

Assistant Team support

  • Providing cover for the wider assistant team during periods of holiday and sickness
  • General Administrative duties

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

This individual must have or be:

  • Be willing to work from the office 4 days a week, flexible and willing to work outside of normal working hours is essential.
  • Have extensive experience supporting senior management
  • Excellent administration skills, displaying absolute discretion at all times
  • Very strong attention to detail and a high standard of the English language (both written and verbal) is essential
  • Ability to multi-task, work proactively and independently and anticipate the needs of charges
  • Have advanced communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent project/account management skills.
  • Ability to embed themselves within the business to understand the firm’s strategy, direction, and approach.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships both internally and externally with charges, colleagues, and clients at all levels.
  • Adaptability to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of client service and response.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms
