Your Team

Reporting to Justin Castelino, Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving and implementing Brookfield Residential’s Homes’ marketing initiatives in a creative, efficient and effective manner. You will drive strategic marketing plans, including media plans that support our business goals. In addition, you will guide advertising and marketing campaigns, tactics and messaging, that demonstrate the value proposition and drive performance across our entire Calgary Homes portfolio.

You will develop and execute key marketing events that show your passion for creating a cohesive experience, working with vendors and creative problem solving on the fly. Your success in this role will also be contingent on your ability to establish relationships with agency and media partners. You will pride yourself on composing integrated, omni channel approaches that exceed benchmarks of performance, all while ensuring our commitment to customer experience, and creating the best places to call home is evident.

Your Key Deliverables

  • Drive and implement marketing and advertising campaigns, including traditional and digital advertising, CRM/Email campaigns and event marketing
  • Set marketing program and campaign KPI’s and report on their success, incorporate key insights into future endeavors
  • Leverage customer insights departments to inform decision making.
  • Project manage sales centre and show home launches in coordination with the Communities and the Alberta Marketing Communications team.
  • Initiate regular communications with developer partners, sales teams, internal staff and management regarding plans, activities and results.
  • With direction from the Marketing Manager, assist in the creation of strategy presentations, annual budgets, annual media planning as well as marketing plans and schedules.
  • Monitor, forecast and report year-to-date budget variances with explanation on a monthly basis.
  • Development of campaign and asset digital assets including websites and landing page and ensuring appropriate content is created, published and broadcast to our audience.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and external agency partners to coordinate a creative process for advertising and promotional activities that support the organization’s brand and assets. External vendors include, but are not limited to creative agencies, media agency of record, production partners (print, collateral, merchandise, event, etc.)
  • Direct advertising agencies with marketing strategies, proof all creative materials, traffic media, supervise projects and ensure campaigns are delivered on budget and in scope.
  • In conjunction with Digital Marketing, plan, monitor, adjust and report on digital campaign and advertising performance.
  • Ideate, coordinate, manage and evaluate events and provide evaluation metrics.
  • Leverage CRM to build lead and homeowner workflows to ensure our outbound marketing program is integrated into our approach
  • Collaborate with online and onsite sales teams to generate, nurture and convert leads
  • Increase brand awareness and leverage networks by looking for and coordinating partnership, sponsorship and influencer opportunities
  • Support team development through coaching and sharing of expertise and information.

Must Haves

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Marketing and/or Advertising
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Thorough understanding of marketing channels (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/SEM and Social media)
  • Experience working directly with an advertising agencies (in relation to media buying, graphic design, media production, etc.)
  • Proven track record of event planning and execution
  • Managing and working within a budget

  • Adobe Creative Suite application knowledge
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot, Facebook (Certified) & Sales Force
  • Strong verbal and written business communication skills
  • Previous experience in the real estate industry
