Who are We?

Brooke Charter Schools is a network of four public charter schools, serving grades K-12 in Mattapan, Roslindale, and East Boston. At Brooke, we coach and invest in our teachers so that they can help our students achieve at the highest levels and graduate from college. We believe academic achievement empowers our students to live choice-filled lives and enhances their ability to contribute to creating a just world. In a culture of achievement, educators support students in recognizing and building on their identities as sources of strength even as they work to grow and achieve in new ways. 

This is a short-term role with employment lasting from January - May/June. 

What is the Occupational Therapist Role?

As the Occupational Therapist at Brooke, you provide individual and small group occupational therapy services, screen and evaluate students, and collaborate with parents and teachers, engaging them as partners in the student’s therapeutic intervention. You also generate, maintain, track, and update all required student records including but not limited to: evaluation reports, IEP goals and objectives, IEP progress notes, etc. 

Salaries are competitive with local districts, starting at $69k. Commensurate with experience. Student Support teammates will also earn an additional $3,300 stipend for working in a high-need field.
