What is the Operations Coordinator Role?
As the Operations Coordinator at Brooke East Boston, you will be an essential part of the Operations Team, which works to ensure operational excellence in support of great teaching. The Operations Coordinator will oversee essential programs such as transportation, field trips, supporting school wide events, family communication, building-wide beautification. The role is fast-paced and will provide opportunities to build rewarding relationships with students, teachers, and families.
Responsibilities
Manage student transportation and communication with families and vendors
Manage school field trips. This includes but is not limited to overnight field trips and all logistics around overnight trips.
Manage communication and engagement with families including Parent Involvement Council meetings, events and logistics.
Support the logistics and coordination of various school events and celebrations including but not limited to 8th grade moving up ceremony and student dances
Provide support to the main office for visitor, family and student requests
Other such duties and projects as the Director of Operations may from time to time request commensurate with the employee’s position
This is a year-round position, and salary is commensurate with experience. Salary will range from $50K - $81,000 depending upon years of experience. Anticipated work hours are from 8am-5:30pm M-F.
Spanish speakers preferred.

You’ve received a high school diploma (some college credit preferred).
2 years of full-time work experience
You have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Google Drive.
You are professional, warm, and emotionally composed with students, families, and colleagues.
You are able to start immediately.
