What is the Speech and Language Pathologist Role?
As the Speech and Language Pathologist at Brooke, you provide individual and small group speech/language services, screen and evaluate students for the presence of speech/language disorders, and collaborate with parents and teachers, engaging them as partners in the student’s therapeutic intervention. You also generate, maintain, track, and update all required student records including but not limited to: speech/language evaluation reports, IEP goals and objectives, IEP progress notes, etc
Salaries are competitive with local districts, starting at $60k. Commensurate with experience. Student Support Coordinators will also earn an additional $3,000 stipend for working in a high-need field.
You hold a current Speech and Language Therapist License from the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
