About the role

As an SDR, you help create the energy and excitement around Broadsign products, providing the right path and getting them connected with the people who can help do great things. You understand that Broadsign is dedicated to delivering the best customer experience in the industry. It starts with you discovering the customer's needs. And with the support of your sales directors, you match those needs with the right product. Every day is an opportunity for you to turn another company into a loyal Broadsign customer.

As an SDR, you are highly skilled at uncovering customers' needs, then following through with enlightening solutions. Not only are you the first person our customers interact with, but you're also the person who guides us down the right path. For you to be successful in this role, you will need to be resourceful, to ensure each lead is properly treated. Your success is measured by team and individual productivity, as well as overall company performance.

The right candidate for this position has…

  • About 1 year of experience in a similar role or is looking for their first experience in sales and most importantly, is ready to learn!
  • An ability to deliver great customer experiences in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong interest in technology and the advertising industry
  • Strong communication skills that let you converse as freely and comfortably with small groups as with individual customers.
  • Comfort with CRM tools (ideally Salesforce) for lead, contact, and pipeline management
  • Loves to see a project through from beginning to end
  • Enjoys challenging themselves and constantly learning about new tech
  • Likes to have your ideas heard and contributions recognized
  • Is passionate about technology and eager to share that passion with others
  • Has strong people skills - you're approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
  • If you speak a second language, it’s an asset!

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French. Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients, and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry
