We are looking for a highly-motivated Sales Manager to manage our sales in India and is responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and partners. This is a remote position based in India. 

As the Sales Manager, India, you should work to satisfy customer’s needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. 

Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long term client and vendor relationships. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage local distributors and present and demonstrate company solutions to Value Added Resellers, consultants, creative and marketing agencies and to large end-customers across India. 
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts in the specified region to achieve long-term success 
  • Work closely with company’s Content Management Systems (CMS) partners in order to close new opportunities in various market verticals (retail, corporate, education, Quick-Service-Restaurants, etc.) 
  • Promote the company’s products and services; addressing or predicting client’s objectives 
  • Drive entire sales cycle with large accounts, including arranging business meetings, giving presentations and client face-to-face meetings 
  • Develop positive relationships with clients 
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customer’s needs 
  • Research and generate new business using existing and potential customer networks, social media, etc. 
  • Participate in trade shows and company related events 
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner 
  • Report on status of accounts and transactions 
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth 

Qualifications 

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience 
  • Experience in digital signage industry 
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience 
  • Must be willing to travel as part of normal job duties 
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS office (MS Excel) 
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills 
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time 
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude 
  • Outgoing, approachable personality 

What Would Make Us REALLY Love You 

  • Good understanding of all the actors of the digital signage industry (CMS Vendors, content providers, Value-Added-Resellers (VARs) 
  • Previous sales experience in AV / media / technology / Retail Fixtures is highly preferred
