Our Tech & Product Team play a core role in empowering the next generation with insights, advice and guidance to connect them with leading employers like Amazon, Google, HSBC and many more. Now, we’re searching for a visionary Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Product Team for a 10-month maternity cover, as we head into our next exciting chapter of growth.

The Role:

This is your chance to work across the entire design journey, from user research to high-fidelity designs, driving the look and feel of our B2B and B2C products. You’ll thrive in our fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously while reporting directly to our Lead Product Manager as part of the Product Team. If you love switching between tasks and owning the full design process, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of wireframes and prototypes through to high-fidelity designs for all B2B and B2C products, delivering exceptional experiences for members and clients
  • Partner with the Lead Product Manager to conduct user research via user testing, interviews, and surveys to shape our product direction
  • Translate user behaviour into compelling product designs using your extensive knowledge of UX design techniques and methodologies
  • Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager to define the strategic design roadmap and long-term vision for our products
  • Review front-end implementation and collaborate with the development team to ensure that it matches the design requirements
  • Own and continuously improve our design system and component library (in Figma) to ensure consistency across all platforms

  • You are a seasoned UX/UI Designer who has hands-on experience across the full design cycle
  • You have the ability to juggle multiple projects across different products, with ease
  • You proactively tackle design challenges and are equally comfortable creating MVPs and iterating rapidly, as you are creating a North Star vision
  • You have experience collaborating effectively with development teams to achieve high quality products, especially during the early stages to balance design direction with technical feasibility

Key Details:

  • Location: Our Tech & Product team are predominantly based in Edinburgh, so we’re prioritising candidates able to partly work from our Edinburgh office. We’re also open to London and/or remote candidates if the fit is right for both parties
  • Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum
  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Final round interview with our Platform CEO
