Strategy Consultant (Six Month Contract)

Introducing Bright Network:

Bright Network is a market leading, VC backed, data and technology platform that’s building the workforce of tomorrow. We’ve already signed up 1 million+ members and are working with 300+ of the world’s biggest companies in the UK and Germany. We're now on the hunt for a Strategy Consultant to work directly with our Founder & CEO on a key growth project for the business.

Having helped hundreds of thousands of the brightest and most diverse graduates in the UK secure their first role, we’re now examining ways we can add value to our members beyond university and deliver extra value for our client partners. We’re looking for an exceptional individual to work with our Founder & CEO to analyse new growth opportunities and launch a new product that will deliver significant top line revenue growth.

What does this look like in action?

  • Structure and lead a six-month strategy project looking at potential growth areas, break the project down into key milestones & deliverables (e.g. research, MVP etc.)
  • Quantitative and qualitive research with existing Bright Network members and client partners to understand their needs (e.g. running focus groups/one to one meetings etc.)
  • Developing a key understanding of existing product suites to understand their transferability to a potential new product offering
  • Ideating options for revenue expansion

Does this sound like you?

  • 5+ years’ consulting experience at a leading consulting firm (ideally, but not essentially, with experience consulting in the Marketing, Financial Services or recruitment sectors)
  • Prior experience owning & driving forward a growth project – you’re a smart, curious & analytical individual not afraid to challenge others in order to get the right outcome
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – you’re a self-starter, full of drive and determination (this role is perfect if you want to start your own business one day as you’ll be working alongside an exited founder/scale-up CEO leader)
  • Highly organised with clear attention to detail, priding yourself on your excellent communication skills

We can offer you:

  • Join a high-growth and rapidly scaling business – we launched Bright Network Technology Academy in 2021 and launched internationally into the German market in 2022 🚀
  • You will be interacting with FTSE 100 global businesses, having the opportunity to work with big names and big brands 🌍
  • You’ll be driving forward our mission - upskilling the next generation of future talent and connecting members with opportunities they otherwise simply wouldn’t have access to! 🧡

Key Details:

  • Contract: 6-month FTC
  • Location: Liverpool Street, London (four days in the office, one day remote)
  • Remuneration: Competitive day rate / salary
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Reporting line: Founder & CEO

Application & interview process:

  • Introductory call with a member of our People Team
  • 60-minute interview with our CEO & Founder

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Commitment:

Equal opportunities for all is a core part of what we do at Bright Network. To this end, we welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and endeavour to run a fair and equal hiring process at all times. We assess and recruit candidates based on competency and potential, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or disability.
