Here at Bright Network, we’re going through an extended period of growth, and our Events Team are now on the lookout for an Events Executive to join them on their journey…

The Role:
As an Events Executive, you will support on end-to-end event management across a portfolio of Bright Network’s events, such as Women in Leadership, Black Heritage Future Leaders, Proud to B and Internship Experience UK.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and growing Events team whose aim is to connect our employer partners and students through exclusive and innovative networking opportunities. Our Events Managers balance strong project coordination and organisation skills with creativity to connect approximately 5,000 students with over 200 of our employer partners every year. Your work will genuinely help to create change for the younger generation, and provide them with the best opportunities possible to succeed!

Specifically, you will…

  • Gain an understanding and provide support on the smooth delivery of our Bright Network events portfolio, helping to increase quality and assisting with ensuring all events hit their delivery targets & objectives
  • Effectively collaborate with Events Marketing to ensure events are promoted effectively, attendance is maximised and engagement is increased
  • Understand and maintain a positive brand perception for the portfolio by ensuring client and member feedback related to delivery is collected, analysed and acted on for event
  • Support on delivering events within the budget to maximise profitability
  • Support in building strong working relationships with clients and vendors
  • Provide ideas & opportunities to improve all key metrics of our portfolio (including attendance rate, applications, average price of partnership, ratings from clients and students, etc)

Key Details:

  • Location: London, Liverpool Street with hybrid working
  • Salary: £30,000
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Line Manager: Head of Events Delivery

  • Initial screening call: 30-minute initial screening call with our Internal Talent Partner
  • 1st round: 60-minute competency interview with our Head of Events Delivery
  • 2nd round: Presentation and values & culture interview
  • Final round: Meeting with our Platform CEO and the wider events team
