SCOPE OF ROLE
The Distribution team is a critical component of Bright HealthCare’s success as it drives the overall membership enrollment process and strategy. As part of the Distribution Team, you will help with developing engaging content to train our internal and external sales agents and leaders, providing timely and accurate materials to ensure participants understand various topics from soft sales skills, product knowledge, use of technology tools, and more. The material developed will be in the form of various mediums including presentations, printed reference material, video, and interactive OnDemand modules. Beyond training, the intended messaging for these materials must also include a tone which promotes the Bright HealthCare brand.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Content Developer job description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items.
- Must have professional written-communication skills to create content in diverse media—“student” and “teacher-facing” print materials.
- Produce presentations, job aids, instructional videos, and OnDemand training modules to be delivered to various audiences.
- Maintain material storage process that allows for periodic review for relevance and version control.
- Operate within the content development process and collaborate with various subject matter experts to ensure high quality products.
- Develop content in accordance with approved style guides.
- Maintain and upgrade technical skills and capabilities regarding the application of new technologies and software.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree related to graphic or media design is preferred.
- Four (4) or more years of experience in a similar role.
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
- Technology skills required, experience with tools such as: Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and/or other similar design software
- Experience operating digital video camera equipment.
- Strong project management skills with ability to take project from concept to completion.
- Proficient written communication skills
- Strong collaborator and problem solver
- Ability to thrive and deliver results in a sometimes-chaotic environment
- Able to effectively deal with change
- Cooperates well within the group
LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Instructional Design certificate is preferred, but not required for this role.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The majority of work responsibilities are performed in an open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer.
- Travel may be required.
