SCOPE OF ROLE
The Business Analyst – Implementation/Readiness is responsible for administering the tools and processes to ensure benefit plans are ready to sell and ready to serve on directional system platform across the enterprise. S/he will routinely engage with internal business customers, support teams and vendors to fulfill the role while overseeing multiple workstreams. S/he is responsible for ensuring that all risks and issues are identified and remediation plans are created and executed on.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Analyst - Procurement job description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items.
- Leads assigned workstreams by participating in workstream project management initiatives, documenting progress in Asana, reviewing and approving assigned BRDs and leading discovery efforts for assigned workstreams
- Collaborates with internal customers, support teams and vendors throughout the process to ensure effective engagement and compliance. Identify and resolve/escalate issues that affect the entire system and work strategically to mitigate risk to avoid disruption to internal customers, support teams and vendors.
- Trains and coaches business customers and internal support teams on the use of Bright Health’s Project Management Tools, and Readiness Sharepoint
- Develops and produces reporting and other relevant documentation to support team communication internally and with strategic vendors
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required or five (5)+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in one or more in Health Plan Operations, Product, Sales, Network or Clinical Operations
- Experience with either Individual and Family (IFP) and/or Medicare Advantage products required
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience in Health Plan Annual Readiness preferred

- Experience with ASANA as a project management tool preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The majority of work responsibilities are performed in an open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer.
