The Opportunity

Brightflag is looking for a data-driven and tech-savvy marketing operations professional to help our GTM team drive continued growth. This person will be the backbone of our marketing operation, removing friction, providing visibility into inputs relative to results, and supporting continued effective scaling. The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution and measurement of our marketing campaigns. This includes managing our marketing database and providing the marketing and sales development teams with the information they need to plan and execute effectively on campaigns. They will report directly to the Director, Revenue Operations and work closely with the Marketing team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Aligning MOPS priorities with marketing business objectives.
  • Owning end-to-end operational support for our marketing efforts, including providing guidance in the ideation and planning phase and measuring results.
  • Owning marketing reporting and campaign performance analysis, including defining and implementing reporting and dashboards to effectively measure marketing performance.
  • Maintaining and optimizing our marketing automation instance (Hubspot) including but not limited to all workflows, lists, forms, and connected apps.
  • Owning lead scoring and routing to ensure our inbound leads are routed to the right person at the right time, including recommending and implementing improvements to our lead scoring methodology.
  • Partnering with our Events Manager on all pre- and post- event outreach and list management efforts.
  • Working with the Manager, Sales Development to provide outbound target lists, including sourcing net new target companies and enriching the existing database.
  • Maintaining database hygiene (Salesforce) by implementing a deduplication and normalization program using RingLead.
  • Providing end to end operational support our owned webinar program from start to finish.
  • Managing adherence to lead SLAs.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

  • 3+ years in a marketing operations role
  • Experience managing MarTech; we use Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Analytics 
  • Understanding of mid-market/enterprise SaaS sales motions and marketing best practices
  • Analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy - able to understand system architecture
  • Clear communicator - able to distill complex ideas in easy-to-understand terms
  • Excel skills to Intermediate level

Location & Eligibility

This role is hybrid, based in New York city. We expect you to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
