Position Overview 

We are searching for an experienced sales person to take a senior position in our EMEA New Business Sales team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and capable of taking a leading role in identifying, developing and building relationships with target customers within our Enterprise target verticals. This a great opportunity for an individual who is excited by not just delivering on a sales strategy, but someone who wants to help shape it. 
You must have a proven track record for delivering on or exceeding revenue goals, ideally selling enterprise SaaS video solutions. You should be confident working with tier 1 enterprise prospects with deal values of $100K+. We’re looking for someone capable of uncovering strategic deals within a key set of target accounts. You will be experienced in managing complex deals with multiple stakeholders and, in some cases partners, in order to deliver high value and high profile new logo customers for Brightcove. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Create, implement and own a sales pipeline strategy to manage customer lead intake, drive outbound activity, manage prioritisation and monitor metrics for measurement of deal status
  • Build a strategic plan for target accounts to ensure a focus on high value deals
  • Meet or exceed sales goals each quarter
  • Sell the core Brightcove product as well as working closely with our services business on custom and strategic projects
  • Continuously develop an extensive set of relationships at C-level, VP and Director-levels across companies and across industry categories
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around the use of the Brightcove platform
  • Prepare deal overviews and contract summaries for key stakeholders
  • Work closely with the internal teams including Marketing to coordinate on the strategy for the Enterprise verticals
  • Exemplary CRM hygiene to ensure accurate forecasting

Qualifications/Experience 

  • 12+ years domain expertise in selling six figure saas deals; video marketing and internal communications systems is preferable but not essential
  • Extensive experience in sales/business development, ideally for a leading software or enterprise software company, with experience in enterprise relationships and selling into the vertical
  • Possess a strong sales background that enables you to drive an engagement at the SVP & C level
  • Must have a proven track record of successful six figure sales and exceeding revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to originate, develop and close deals
  • Demonstrated ability to be creative and think outside the box in terms of deal structure and framework
  • An ability to assess client needs effectively and address needs through new products and services
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

**Special Conditions

  • This is an individual contributor quota-carrying role
  • This role does involves domestic and international travel, up to 30%
  • This role is a hybrid role required to be on-site in London 2-3 days a week
