IAM Team Overview:

The goal of the IAM team is to provide the right access to the right people at the right time. This is done through a combination of a diverse set of technologies and processes and close collaboration with the business and policies and standards. The team is composed of business analysts, engineers and architects. Our mission is critical to the success of the company and is closely aligned to Bridgewater’s strategic technology initiatives.

 

Position Summary:

The IAM Architect is accountable for technical direction of the IAM platform, spanning technology footprint, alignment with Bridgewater Security Standards, IAM integration with Bridgewater systems, and  architecture evolution.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the delivery lifecycle of the core IAM platforms with a strong emphasize in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
  • Build and maintain relationships with Governance Risk and Compliance, HR and Technology teams to deeply understand organizational wide process and technology improvements iniatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for Bridgewater technical teams as it relates to IAM integration
  • Participate in business process evaluation/improvement activities, requirements gathering, system analysis, system design, software / hardware applicability studies and system implementation and executes projects based on these activities.
  • Ensures successful transition of project deliverables to support / maintenance /operations teams
  • Build strong cross-organizational relationships and effectively influence the identity at Bridgewater

 

Position Requirements:

  • Proficient and passionate technologist with subject matter expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Experience designing and implementing roles management framework. Well-versed in RBAC and Access Governance solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with Identity Management User Provisioning platforms - Ideally SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Participate in business process evaluation/improvement activities, requirements gathering, system analysis, system design, software / hardware applicability studies and system implementation and executes projects based on these activities.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Identity and Access Management business processes.
  • Experience operating with modern software engineering methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, DevOps and DevSecOps
  • Ability to analytically digest any issue/problem encountered and recommend an appropriate solution
  • Ability to convincingly articulate vision and strategy for complex and innovative technical undertakings
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make expert judgments in situations where no precedent exists
