About the job: Account executives are expected to source and close new business. A part-time assistant is available to help each AE but are expected to be full-cycle.  Sales come from outbound prospecting, tradeshows, inbound leads, and referrals. We use an account based selling approach, which starts with researching practices to determine whether they fit our ideal customer profile. From there we target meetings using an outreach process that that includes direct mail, email, phone calls, and all the modern methods you’d expect to set up a demo.  Demos are mainly online but also occasionally in person at tradeshows or on a road trip. At the end of our demo we provide prospects with a high value offering to help them see their number of overdue patients and an economic and clinical estimate of how much they might benefit from an overdue patient campaign. From there, the prospect has the chance to trial the software and the account executive follows up to close the sale.

Applicant Profile: We’re looking for persuasive, motivated candidates who are excited about taking their career to a new level at the convergence of two of the most exciting sectors in the economy—high tech and healthcare. Four-year degree required, any major. Familiarity with doctors’ offices is preferred. Selling experience is required. Success as an SDR/BDR or equivalent position would also be desirable.  Our culture demands absolute integrity, constant improvement, and friendly collaboration.  Attention to detail is critical, as we are a data-driven organization.  Must be able to develop trust and rapport with prospects through a consultative sales approach.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required or imminent.
  • Ability to learn Brevium’s software and persuade others to use it. This requires both comfort and ability with technology, and clear and efficient communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft are a bonus.
  • Healthcare sales experience (2 years)

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and closing new accounts.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
  • Maintaining consistent and detailed data in Salesforce.
  • Arranging own travel.
  • Working trade shows.
  • Setting up online demonstrations.

Compensation: Base salary plus commission of revenue generated. The base depends on experience, but a typical rep can expect $30-40k commission the first year, and $60-80k in year two. You will ramp into a quota over six months and have the opportunity for increases in your base pay as you meet specific sales targets, in addition to other bonuses for retention or other specific company goals. In 2023, top AEs designed their own $10,000 trip of a lifetime. Expect something similar in 2024. In 2021 75% of AEs met OTE. In 2022, 100% of AE’s met OTE.  In 2023, 75% of AEs met or exceeded OTE.
