We’re seeking a Marketing & Sales Support Specialist to join our marketing team. This role focuses on supporting sales initiatives through marketing efforts. You’ll play a key role in managing tradeshows, creating sales-focused materials, and executing email campaigns, all while collaborating with our marketing team to drive growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tradeshow Management: Oversee the tradeshow calendar, secure event participation, coordinate logistics (e.g., packing, shipping, setup), and occasionally attend tradeshows to assist in set up and represent the company.
- Promotional Item Management: Assist in overseeing the inventory of promotional items within the marketing inventory, ensuring availability for tradeshows, customer goodie bags, and other marketing initiatives.
- Pre- and Post-Show Campaigns: Execute pre-show outreach and post-show follow-up emails to engage attendees and generate leads.
- Email Marketing: Plan and execute email campaigns, including nurturing and e-blasts, to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Sales Collateral: Create presentations, specialty flyers, sales territory maps, and other materials tailored to support the sales team in engaging potential and current customers.
- Customer Enablement: Ensure current customers have access to marketing-based resources that empower their success.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team on advertisements, creative projects, and potential website-related tasks.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Comfortable and confident with public speaking and representing the company in conjunction with the sales team at meetings.
- Ability to think creatively and outside the box, consistently demonstrating innovation in your work.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to actively participate in group meetings and contribute creative yet practical ideas.
- Strong understanding of marketing channels, including (but not limited to) advertising, graphic design, project management, social media, and email communications.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a marketing or sales support role.
