We are searching for an Email Marketing Manager to join our Seriously Nice ™ marketing team! In this position, you will play a vital role in creating targeted and impactful email campaigns that contribute to Guest retention, acquisition, and overall marketing success for Breeze. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, data analysis skills, and creativity to effectively engage the audience and drive desired outcomes.

Here’s what you’ll do

Campaign Planning:

  • Collaborate with marketing and other commercial teams to develop email marketing strategies that align with the overall brand, marketing, and business goals of Breeze.
  • Plan and schedule email campaigns, taking into account promotions, sales tactics and targets, and key audience segments.

Content Creation:

  • Work with brand strategy team to develop compelling and visually appealing email content.
  • Ensure that email content adheres to brand guidelines and effectively communicates key messages.

Segmentation and Targeting:

  • Utilize Guest data to segment Breeze’s email subscriber list based on demographics, geography, behavior, and preferences.
  • Implement targeted and personalized email campaigns to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Email Automation:

  • Implement and optimize email automation workflows, including welcome series, drip campaigns, and transactional emails.
  • Use automation tools to streamline the email marketing process and enhance efficiency.

A/B Testing:

  • Conduct A/B testing on various elements of email campaigns, such as subject lines, content, and calls-to-action.
  • Analyze results and use insights to refine future campaigns for better performance.

Delivery and Compliance:

  • Ensure that emails comply with anti-spam regulations and email marketing best practices.
  • Monitor email deliverability and implement strategies to maintain a high inbox placement rate.

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Generate reports to assess the success of email marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations.

List Management:

  • Manage and maintain the email subscriber list, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Implement list hygiene practices to improve deliverability and engagement.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with other Team Members across social media, content, loyalty, partnerships, and design, to align email campaigns with broader marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce and Revenue Management teams to identify incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Guest Empowerment Team to ensure consistency in messaging and promotions.

Guest Engagement Strategies:

  • Develop strategies to enhance Guest engagement through email, such as loyalty program offers, exclusive offers, and personalized content.
  • Implement tactics to re-engage inactive subscribers and nurture Guest relationships.

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience while meeting team’s goals and KPIs.
  • 5+ years email marketing experience, with hands-on experience using email marketing platform and experience coding emails
  • Deep experience with reporting and analytics, including Google Analytics and Excel
  • Experience with marketing automation and segmentation
  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM, deliverability, spam complaint rate, etc.
  • Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success.
  • Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • SendGrid and Figma experience a plus
  • PowerBI experience a plus

Skills/Talents

  • Strong sense of email marketing fundamentals
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with proven ability to adapt tone and style to brand needs
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication and time management skills.
  • Strong sense of analytical and reporting skills, with ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization
