We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services platform. You will work closely with our development and infrastructure teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.
Here’s what you’ll do
Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud-based solutions according to best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost of AWS resources.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, security, and best practices.
Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
