Inflight Instructors are responsible for delivering approved curriculum to Breeze Flight Attendants in a variety of training programs. Inflight Instructors are confident and friendly resources for Flight Attendants, ensuring total comprehension of training material and clear understanding of the Breeze Mission and Values. When not in the classroom, they will assist in the development and amendment of training modules and support our line Flight Attendants through check-rides and observation flights.
Here’s what you’ll do
Facilitate training modules and deliver curriculum to Flight Attendants in programs such as Initial, Recurrent, Requalification, and Transition Training
Be knowledgeable in all areas of instruction and present material in a logical, clear, and organized manner
Know the training policies and procedures and demonstrate satisfactory instructional methods and techniques
Conduct all required drills and competency checks
Complete required training forms and documentation
Coach and counsel trainee Flight Attendants
Collaborate with the Manager, Inflight Training and Supervisors of Inflight Training
Support line Flight Attendants through on-board check-rides and observation flights
Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence
Other duties as assigned by the company and Inflight Management
Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
1+ year of adult training facilitation
High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment
1+ year Flight Attendant Qualified
Ability to obtain a Passport and travel unrestricted to/from the United States
Willing to travel and occasionally work as a Flight Attendant to support the operation
Confident with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams
High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Self-starter, must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
U.S. Citizenship or the legal right to work in the U.S.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred Qualifications
4-year degree from an accredited university
1+ years of experience training Flight Attendants on Airbus 220 or Embraer Ejet Aircraft
2+ years of experience as a Flight Attendant on Airbus 220 or Embraer Ejet Aircraft
Previous Air Transportation Supervisor (ATS) experience
