The Maintenance Training Instructor OJT (On-the-Job Training) is responsible for establishing the training standards, delivery, and instruction of both technical and non-technical training to Breeze Team Members and Approved Providers.
Here’s what you’ll do
Establishes standards and procedures to deliver and manage On-The-Job Training for Maintenance Team Members
Works with Technical Operations Team Leaders to develop training needs.
Supports Pathway Program outreach programs to ensure industry and company needs are met
Delivers On-the-Job Training (OJT) to Breeze Team Members and Approved Providers, including instruction to Pathway Program Team Members
Delivers authorization training such as Airworthiness Releae, Engine Run, Engine Run and Taxi, Brakeriding, RVSM and other training required to support maintenance operations.
Support training for Approved Providers such as Essential Maintenance, On-Call, and Fuel Providers
Updates technical course content and presentations
Maintains proficiency with instructional areas assigned by the Manger, Maintenance Training
Delivers training based on requests from various internal departments
Supports company leadership to maintain company manuals related to technical training
Maintains training aids in both classroom and virtual environments
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Manger, Maintenance Training
Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent educational achievement
Must hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft types
Five years aviation maintenance experience maintaining commercial aircraft or two (2) years of maintenance training experience
Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions
Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
Must be willing to travel 50% of the time
Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
Must be willing to work with other departments within the company as needed
Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Learming Management Systems (LMS)
Experience maintaining Embraer E-Jet and Airbus family aircraft
Familiar with an airline Maintenance Information System (MIS) such as TRAX
Skills/Talents
Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be fluent in English
